Who we are
BorderHQ Pty Ltd operates the website at borderhq.ai. We build AI systems for customs administrations — our products include BorderRev, Border360, BorderShield, and BorderSentinel. This website is a marketing site; it does not have user accounts, e-commerce, or payment functionality.
For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at hello@borderhq.ai.
What information we collect
We collect a small amount of data across three categories:
Contact form submissions
When you use the contact form on this site you provide your name, email address, organisation name, and a message. This information is submitted voluntarily — we collect it only when you choose to send it.
Analytics data
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data including: pages visited, time on page, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country and region). Google Analytics does not associate this data with personally identifiable information, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data.
Server access logs
Our web server automatically records standard access log entries including IP addresses, the URL requested, the HTTP status code, and timestamps. These logs are retained for security and operational purposes only.
How we use your information
- Contact form data — to respond to your enquiry. If you have expressed interest in our products, we may follow up with relevant product updates. We will not send you unsolicited marketing without your consent.
- Analytics data — to understand how visitors use this site, which pages are most useful, and where we can improve content and navigation.
- Server logs — to maintain the security and availability of the site, and to diagnose technical issues when they arise.
We do not use any data collected through this website to train machine learning models, for advertising targeting, or for any purpose beyond those stated above.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (property ID: G-331EH8V0GV), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyse information about how visitors use this site, and to report on website activity.
Google may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries in accordance with its own privacy policies.
For more information on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use cookies solely for Google Analytics. These cookies help Google Analytics distinguish between new and returning visitors, and measure session duration and page interactions. We do not use advertising cookies, social-media tracking cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies beyond those set by Google Analytics.
You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, Google Analytics will not be able to track your visit — however, the website itself will continue to function fully without cookies.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. The only circumstances in which data is shared with third parties are:
- Google (Analytics) — analytics data is processed by Google as described in Section 4 above.
- Legal obligation — we may disclose personal data if required to do so by law or by a valid order of a court or regulatory authority.
Data retention
We retain different categories of data for different periods, based on the purpose for which they were collected:
| Data type | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Contact form submissions | Up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, then deleted. |
| Google Analytics data | Subject to Google's retention settings — default is 14 months. |
| Server access logs | 90 days, then automatically purged. |
If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly unless we are required to retain it for a legitimate legal or operational reason.
Your rights
Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right of access — to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements.
- Right to restriction — to request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — to object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@borderhq.ai. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
Data security
This website is served exclusively over HTTPS. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Contact form submissions are transmitted securely. We do not store payment card information or any financial data — this website has no payment system.
While we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us at hello@borderhq.ai.
Children
This website is directed at business professionals and government officials working in the customs and trade compliance sector. It is not directed at children under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us at hello@borderhq.ai and we will delete it promptly.
