BorderHQ, a leading innovator in Artificial Intelligence for border modernization, customs technology, and trade facilitation solutions, today announced the appointment of Scott Suhy to its Advisory Board.
Scott Suhy brings more than three decades of experience building and scaling technology companies at the intersection of cybersecurity, government technology, and border risk management. His background spans multiple successful exits, senior executive roles at Microsoft, and a deep track record of delivering security and risk solutions for government clients across the United States and internationally.
Most notably, Scott served as CEO of GreenLine Systems, a company purpose-built to help governments worldwide manage risks to safety, security, economy, and trade associated with the movement of goods and people. Under his leadership, GreenLine Systems developed and delivered border risk management technology solutions for government clients before being acquired by A-T Solutions, an internationally recognized leader in counter-terrorism. Scott subsequently served as President of the GreenLine Systems Group at A-T Solutions, managing a successful post-acquisition integration and achieving greater than 20% growth.
Scott also founded and led NetWatcher, a Security-as-a-Service platform that enabled government and enterprise customers to deploy continuous network monitoring, intrusion detection, active scanning, log analysis, and Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities. NetWatcher was acquired by Qualys (NASDAQ: QLYS) in November 2017, following which Scott served as Vice President of NetWatcher and Strategic Alliances, supporting the post-acquisition integration.
Earlier in his career, Scott spent nearly 16 years at Microsoft in a series of increasingly senior roles, including General Manager of Public Sector Business Development and General Manager of the Midamerica Sales District. This foundation gave him an intimate understanding of how technology solutions are adopted, scaled, and sustained within government environments — experience that is directly relevant to BorderHQ's mission of bringing AI-powered border modernization to customs and border agencies worldwide.
Scott currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of iCollect Holdings Corporation, where he is building a next-generation alternative investment platform. He shares his time between Lisbon, Portugal and the Washington DC–Baltimore area.
As a member of the BorderHQ Advisory Board, Scott will provide strategic guidance on market development, public sector go-to-market strategy, cybersecurity integration, and partnership development across the United States and North American government technology markets.
